Who is Skedit for?

Skedit was created specifically for home service businesses in industries such as pool service, landscaping and lawn care, plumbing, HVAC, Tree care, pest control, pressure washing, deck and fence installation, patio covers, outdoor kitchens, and any other indoor and outdoor service-based industry. Are there any system requirements?

Skedit is web based and can be ran on any computer, ipad, or phone as long as you have an internet connection. Skedit also have an apple and android app with offline capabilities to ensure your data is stored no matter where you go. You can use Skedit through any web browser including Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, & Firefox.

Am I going to require training?

Unlike other home service software in the market, Skedit focuses on being easy to use and intuitive. Once you have decided to use Skedit we have an onboarding process that lasts two weeks or 4 appointments between 30 minutes to an hour each. The purpose of these meetings is to help get your customers, employees, and company set up and show you where to add different options. Once you have gone through these online onboarding sessions there are various videos and online walkthroughs to answer any questions you may have. We have sections to request any additional features or ideas you may have, and we have customer service reps available almost any time you need.

Are there any commitments or contracts?

Skedit does not require any contracts, but does offer discounts for yearly subscriptions. We believe that our software and the experience will speak for itself. We believe that the benefits will keep you using Skedit, and boast a 97% retention rate with customers in all industries.

What happens after my trial period expires?

We offer a 30-day trial with all features available. Once your 30 day period has ended you will lose access to your account but the information will be kept for up to a year if you decide to join later that data will be available for you.

What industries work best with Skedit?

Skedit is ideal for home service businesses such as HVAC, Plumbing, lawn care, pool service etc., but with the level of customization available we have manufacturing, tutoring, and many other businesses types that have utilized our scheduling and billing abilities.

Can I import my existing customer list?

Skedit has integrations with major accounting software including Quicbooks online, Quickbooks Desktop, and Microsoft Business Dynamics. Through these integrations your customer lists can be imported instantly. We can also manually upload a list for you based on an easy to use template.

How many users can I have?

Skedit is built to help you scale. Although our marketed tiers go up to 15 users we have several companies with hundreds of active users in multiple different locations with multiple service departments.

What if I want to change my billing information or subscription?

To change your billing information simply reach out to your dedicated rep or to customer service to have the billing and/or card information updated.

Is my billing information secure?

We use a PCI compliant 3rd party so all credit card information is stored separately with limited access to what is shown, which also helps to prevent unauthorized access if an attack were to happen.
